In this week's issue of Tell Your Friends! History's Greatest Podcast!, we talk to singer/songwriter Eytan Mirsky, about how collaborating with Todd Solondz on an unlikely-sounding screenplay launched a career in writing music for film, about how he lucked into having music for The Tao of Steve all ready to go, and how nobody gets laid living in Forest Hills.

In addition, we have a story from NPR's Ophira Eisenberg about how the spell of a voodoo priestess works when you least need it. And Liam McEneaney reads memos written to his neighbors.

He's appeared on Irish television as well as American TV appearances on John Oliver's New York Standup Show and his own Comedy Central Half-Hour special, and he tours extensively around the world. Liam McEneaney talks to him about the history of the Irish comedy scene, why the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is important, how Eddie Izzard got turned away for a spot at a comedy club, and how you can contact David to ask him how to fix your bike.

Also, we hear another story from Kambri Crews about the horse she owned as a child. And we spend another Moment with Stacey Nightmare.

All that, and Liam reminisces about his first European tour, and how everything worked out okay despite his own best lack of efforts.

In this week's issue of Tell Your Friends! History's Greatest Podcast!, we speak to singer/songwriter Alana Amram about growing up in a musical household, how a musician listens to music, teaching music to kids, her life in art school, the craziest day job she's ever held, and how the music of Liberace can make your day instantly better. TYF! #9: STEPHEN TOBOLOWSKY with MIKE DOUGHTY and TED TRAVELSTEAD

Watch that first step, this week's issue of Tell Your Friends! is a doozy!

This week, Liam McEneaney talks to actor, podcaster, and author of The Dangerous Animals Club, Stephen Tobolowsky, about his work on films like Glimmer Man, answers listener questions about his roles on Deadwood and Californication, and one of the most touching Mel Gibson stories you'll hear all year. He also talks about why he prefers auditioning to being offered a role and he tells the unglamorous truth about sex scenes.

In fact, it's only March, but the quote of the year might be: "For you people out there who think you want to be part of a simulated sex scene in Hollywood, let me set you straight."

All that and a Road Story from Mike Doughty and another trip down Ted Travelstead's Story Hole.

And Liam talks about helping to scout interns at NYU, and how the NY Mets have the worst ownership in the history of New York sports, and how this might not be the Only Podcast That Matters.

Follow Stephen Tobolowsky on Twitter at @Tobolowsky and at his site, stephentobolowsky.wordpress.com

This week's music:

Stephen Tobolowsky's interview theme is Amazing Grace from the Jerry Garcia/David Grisman album The Pizza Tapes

The Road Stories theme is Country Roads, Take Me Home from Mike Doughty's album The Flip Is Another Honey

And the TYF! theme was written and performed by A Brief View of the Hudson (http://abriefview.com)
